Letters and Dots is an addictive (and colorful) puzzle word game.

The goal is pretty simple; connect letters to create the longest words that you can and earn as many points as possible in 20 turns. New letters fall to replace the ones you used. More points are awarded for longer words and you get a bonus if all of the letters used were the same color.

As you find new words, they’re added to your wordlist so you can keep track of every word you’ve ever found. It might take a while to find every word in the dictionary, but we believe you can do it!

Feeling strategic? Or tired? You can also just connect dots of the same color. This is a great way to help set up the board for a really long word. It’s also the best way to rest your brain in between serious point expeditions.

Letters and Dots was created with a lot of love, so we hope that you have a ton of fun playing it. If you do, tell all your friends (and us)!

Finally, we heart feedback. Do you love the game? Is there a word that’s missing in the dictionary? (Sorry!) Do you just want to say hello? We’d love to hear from you, so reach out to us on Twitter: @lettersanddots

That’s all we got. Have fun and may that elusive seven letter, same color word be in your near future!

Any new improvements on the horizon?
It appears to have been well over a year since there have been any improvements/updates to this app....just wondering if theres anything in the works to do so? Thanks!
A stimulating little word game
Enjoyed the game and the visual layout. A nice little go-to game app.
Cute but for ???
This game has a fantastic premise. However, there are some improvements that could be made: 1. The ability to back up on the spelling line instead of having to cancel a word and start over. 2. A better dictionary. eg it wouldnt accept "blogger" which is now a very common word. 3. The ability to request that words get added to the dictionary. The game also says that you get more points if you make a word of all the coloured letters. I didnt find this to be true. Hopefully the next versions will improve as it has the potential to be a truly fun game.
Challenging and addictive!
So clever - I need to improve my vocab to get better scores on this game!
Deeply engrossed, every time!
I love this game!! Just downloaded it but Ive already played it several times and it never gets boring. Combining letter count and colors to determine your points is pretty clever, and it forces you to be more strategic about building your word set. Super easy to learn and lots of fun to play. I wish it had an option to choose the width of your word board. Also, I wish it had an option to get random letter to just replace used ones rather than random letters "pushing down" the letter column. That would make the play more exciting as youll never know which letter might pop up! Ill definitely be looking for future versions of this game :)
